Whew, the months have flown by! I attended the Grainger County Tomato Festival in Tennessee this summer and had a blast. They have an area in the gym where authors set up for book signings and sell their books. It was fantastic! The people were so friendly and even though the weather was super hot, the crowd really turned out for the occasion. Since Something New in Cloverville? has a lot in common with tomatoes, the festival was perfect for a book signing. I met other authors and the day was a success. So many of my books went to happy boys and girls! I had previously hand painted Tubby and Penny on two different T-shirts and gave them away in a drawing for the children that purchased my books. As soon as I returned home, I sent the T-shirts to the lucky winners! Thanks to all who came to the festival and made it into a perfect day!
